Day in and day out, I hear different people whining of what they don’t have.
I understand just as well as anyone in this western world that some
consider it their God Given right to be able to complain.
And I am
not saying that it’s a sin to complain about things especially if
someone or an organization of someone’s is being neglectful and needs to
be put right.
Not at all.
However, some seem to think they
are entitled to better than what they have simply because they dislike
what they have. Or they see others with better.
Here’s an Example to explain what I mean:
Dick just joined a new company where the old company he was working for was bought out by this new employer. He received an older company vehicle while others in the company have newer ones. A co-worker he works with said that he should complain that he should get a new vehicle because he holds a higher position than some (and because he does more driving) to the powers that be.

Am I a girly girl? Why yes I am, thanks for asking.
I remember as a young girl liking all the pretty things. I was not immune to Cinderella and loved her gowns and hair and pretty shoes.
Now I know it does not make me politically correct nowadays, but being almost 50 years old, I figure that has earned me a pass of having to be always the strong and reasonable one.
Nails have been no different for me. I loved having long nails. The only problem with that was that I have been fighting all my life with the nervous habit of biting them so even when I try to let them grow, the nails are brittle and weak and I have little success.
I have gone through phases of stick-ons and glue-ons and even had started going to the nail salon for acrylic nails.
However in the last little bit I have discovered gel nails. While it’s nice to have someone do them for you. At $50 a pop it can start to add up and it looked simple enough.
So I finally took the plunge and bought some forms and the gel and decided to try my hand at it.
The surprise here was that it was just as easy as they showed it on the ads I had been seeing on Instagram. Put into the forms, apply to clean and prepped nail bed and tada….Nailutopia.
The best part is that I wanted them short and much thinner than what the beauty shop gives you and I was able to do and get them the way I wanted.
I decided to video my first attempt at this and although I forgot some of the time to stay in frame, you can honestly see just how easy it all was to do.
Because we live in a society that dictates that you cannot
get quality from Dollar Stores.
Ask any right self-proclaimed yuppie if he shops his
eyeglasses at the Dollar Tree and he will outright laugh in your face.
Thing is reading glasses are a bit problematic since you don’t
wear them all the time.
You only wear them when you read and if you don’t have an
existing eye problem such as I have by having been near sighted all my life, then
you take these off and on, leaving more room for breakage and loss.
If you lose a pair of glasses that are $125 you might find that a bit disheartening, however if you lose a pair worth $1.25, then it makes it a bit more tolerable.
Everyone thinks that getting rich means making more money or winning the lottery.
It does not necessarily have to be the case.
Getting rich for me in the last few years is getting rid of recurring expenses. And the way I have done this is by getting rid of my cable bill.
That $90 dollar a month bill was really starting to aggravate me, since we only used to watch about 3 or 4 channels of the so called 650 we had to choose from.
The Cable company made it so that you had to pick the different packages at the time even if each package only had 1 real channel you wanted to watch. It became pretty pricey to watch TV. But everyone did it! Right?
